Women in Leadership at BKR: Mentoring Platform Opens as Member Firms Lead Local Initiatives

Published on Jan 14th, 2026

The first phase of the Women in Leadership mentoring platform is now open to BKR members globally, with initial sign-ups focused on building participant profiles ahead of the formal mentoring launch.

The first phase of the Women in Leadership mentoring platform focuses on profile registration, allowing participants to create and share their details ahead of the formal launch of mentorship requests.

The platform is designed to connect women across firms, regions, and career levels, supporting shared learning, professional development, and peer connection. Participants may register as mentors, mentees, or both, recognising that leadership development is ongoing and that experience can be shared in multiple directions.

This phase builds on the Women in Leadership community meetings held in December. Feedback from those sessions, alongside input from the member-led steering committee and insights from the global Women in Leadership survey, informed the structure and focus of the programme.

While mentoring is a central pillar, Women in Leadership at BKR extends beyond the mentoring platform. Additional community meetings, discussions, and engagement opportunities are planned over the coming year.

Further updates will be shared as the mentoring phase progresses and additional Women in Leadership activities are introduced.

Alongside the BKR initiative, member firms across the association continue to advance women-led leadership in their own organisations. A recent example is InnovateHer, the 2026 theme launched by PKP Advisory – a women-owned, women-led firm and supported by a member of the BKR Women in Leadership steering committee – highlighting the shared values driving this work across the association.

The Women in Leadership programme is open to BKR members globally. Firms and individuals interested in getting involved are encouraged to reach out to Emma Barry, EMEA Regional Director, who continues to support and champion the initiative as it expands across regions.
