Deirdre Hartmann, CPA, Tax Partner at BKR member firm Nisivoccia, has been named one of NJBIZ’s 2026 Leading Women in Business Award Honorees, recognising her leadership, contribution to clients and commitment to developing others within the profession.
Several members of the Nisivoccia team joined Deirdre at the awards ceremony to celebrate the achievement, which reflects a career shaped by both specialist expertise and a strong focus on people.

“One of the most rewarding parts of my career is helping others grow. My experiences as a woman, a mother, and a professional in a demanding field have shaped the way I lead. I am proud to help open the door for women-focused mentoring and leadership initiatives within the firm, creating opportunities for professionals to share experiences, build confidence, and support one another.”
The recognition highlights Deirdre’s contribution across client service, specialist practice development, mentorship and the wider business community.
