EMEA Technology Practice Group: AI Security & Data Governance
Following a strong first meeting of the EMEA Technology Practice Group, the group will meet again in November for a focused discussion on AI security and data governance.
The inaugural meeting brought together members at different stages of AI adoption, from firms exploring how best to introduce AI through to those already developing their own tools and automated workflows. Across those different levels of experience, one issue came through consistently: how firms can make greater use of AI while protecting client and firm data and putting appropriate controls in place.
The November session will therefore focus on the practical approaches firms are taking to AI security and governance. Members will be invited to share their experiences, including the tools they are using, how they manage confidentiality and data protection, access and permissions, and the policies or controls they have introduced.
Chaired by Kyriakos Tramountellis of CYAUSE Audit Services in Cyprus, the EMEA Technology Practice Group is designed as a practical, member-led forum where firms can learn from one another’s experience and explore common technology challenges.
Future meetings will focus on specific topics identified by the group, with members and relevant specialists from their firms sharing practical examples and approaches.
Who should attend?
BKR EMEA members with an interest in AI, technology, automation and digital transformation. Members are also encouraged to involve colleagues with relevant technical or subject-matter expertise.
