BKR International is pleased to share a notable achievement from our German member firm, Schiff-Martini & Cie. GmbH, which reflects the strength of collaboration across our global association. Through the combined expertise of several BKR firms, a significant new real estate mandate has been secured for a global asset manager – a success made possible by fast, coordinated, and highly professional cooperation.
In April 2025, Schiff-Martini & Cie. GmbH invited support from fellow BKR firms in France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands for the accounting and tax compliance of a newly established European group structure. The swift engagement and technical insight provided by Grégory Rey (EXPONENS, France), Arcangelo Agogliati (B&C Tax, Italy), Ignacio Fernández Mateos (AYCE LABORYTAX, Spain), and René Peeters (Flynth, Netherlands)played a key role in securing the engagement.
The client’s newly established German entity will oversee a pan-European real estate portfolio spanning 12 countries. Working together, our member firms will support the implementation and ongoing operations of new subsidiaries across eight European jurisdictions, including:
- Tax and social security registrations
- Bookkeeping, reporting frameworks, and payroll setup
- Preparation of financial statements and local tax returns
- Ongoing tax, accounting, and advisory services
The responsiveness, professionalism, and openness demonstrated by all firms strengthened the overall proposal and enabled BKR to outperform global competitors. It is a clear example of how our international association delivers integrated, high-quality cross-border solutions.
BKR recognises the excellent collaboration led by Schiff-Martini & Cie. GmbH and the valuable contributions of Grégory Rey, Arcangelo Agogliati, Ignacio Fernández Mateos, and René Peeters. This mandate highlights the strong cross-border capabilities within BKR and the tangible value created when member firms work together.
