Thought Leadership & Speaking Engagements

Nisivoccia was proud to be represented by Harlene Stevens, CPA, who served as a featured expert panelist at the Small Business Forum 2025 hosted by Laddey, Clark & Ryan. Harlene discussed key tax changes under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and provided strategies to help small business owners plan ahead for 2025 and beyond. We are grateful for the opportunity to share insights with the business community.

Major Firm Event: 2025 Nonprofit Seminar

The firm successfully hosted the 2025 Nonprofit Seminar at the Park Avenue Club, welcoming nonprofit leaders, clients, executives, finance professionals, board members, and community partners for a morning of learning, collaboration, and sector-focused insights. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with peers, explore emerging challenges, and gain practical strategies to strengthen their mission and operations in the year ahead.

The program opened with Linda Czipo, President & CEO of the NJ Center for Nonprofits, who provided an overview of key policy developments impacting nonprofits across New Jersey. Nisivoccia presenters Mike Smith, CPA, and Vicki Kosuda, CPA, shared strategies to enhance financial and reporting systems, while Mark Jensen, Director of IT, and Steven Cimino, CPA, discussed how nonprofits can incorporate AI responsibly and securely. Amy Fiore, Director of The NonProfit HelpDesk, closed the morning with insights on collaboration and adapting to industry change.

We also appreciate the support of Chris Perrotta, CPA; Ryan Hynson, CPA; Christabel Valladares, CPA; Kristin Anderson, CPA; and Dan Shaw, CPA, who supported discussions throughout the morning. We are proud to continue providing education and resources that support the mission-driven organizations we serve.

  • At the same time, Christabel Valladares, Valerie Dolan, Caitlin Orton, and Man Lee participated in the AICPA Government & Not-for-Profit Conference in Las Vegas, strengthening relationships with peers and learning about emerging trends.

We appreciate our colleagues for traveling to represent the firm and bring back fresh perspectives for our clients and teams.

Community, Culture & Industry Engagement

Nisivoccia continues to prioritize community engagement and professional involvement:
