Nisivoccia Employees Making a Difference at Morris Habitat for Humanity Build Day

A few of our dedicated employees showed their care and commitment to the community by volunteering at an annual Morris Habitat for Humanity Build Day. We appreciate their commitment to positively impacting our local community, and we are proud to support the great organization of Habitat for Humanity.

Danielle Cagno, CPA, was the speaker for November at the BW Nice Monthly Meeting for the Sussex County Chapter on Friday, November 17. Danielle discussed Bookkeeping and Technology for Small Business Owners.

 Government Auditors Present to the Bergen County ASBO 
Two of our Government Auditors, Caitlin Orton and Brian Gibbons, presented to the Bergen County Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) on the School Audits in October.

Women in Business at Nisivoccia Attend Morris County Chamber Awards Luncheon 
Michelle Shapiro, Laura Lampron, and Katie Bishop attended the Morris County Chamber Women in Business Awards & Networking Lunch on Friday, December 1. They hosted a table where we talked with clients, friends, and other community members, as well as made some new meaningful connections. The chamber and specifically the Women in Business group has been a great community and network for us.

Brave Nisivoccia Employees Take FLG Ropes Adventure Course 
Nisivoccia employees went on an adventure at FLG X Ropes Course for an exciting firm event on Friday, November 10! It is always a fun day of teamwork and bonding for the firm that we’ve enjoyed doing the last few years. See our brave employees in the pictures.

Audit and Tax Busy Season Party – Celebrating Success! 
Our Audit and Tax teams successfully wrapped up another busy season and gathered to celebrate their significant efforts with a bowling party! As another tax filing deadline passed and some audits concluded, it was time to let off some steam and relish our collective achievements, not only during a season but year-round.  Check out the snapshot of the team at the fun occasion. Glenn Schwier, CPA and Tax Partner, Shares His Expertise with Fellow Somerset County Business Partnership Members at a Monthly Meeting 
Our Tax Partner, Glenn Schwier, CPA, presented a Tax Update to the Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) on Thursday, November 16, at their Monthly FiSig Meeting for SCBP members. Laura Lampron also attended, and there were about 20 other members there, making it a great turnout. The members and our employees always appreciate Glenn sharing his expertise!

CPA, Tax Partner, and Treasurer for the 200 Club of Sussex County, Presents the Treasurer’s Report 
Bob Charlton presented the Treasurer’s Report at the 200 Club of Sussex County Annual Dinner on Wednesday, November 29, at Perona Farms. We are very proud to support the cause and to be long-time members. Bob is the Treasurer and takes great pride in bringing his skills and experience to fulfill his role with the 200 Club of Sussex County, and it is extremely rewarding knowing all the organization does to support the community. We are thankful to Bob for his involvement and to the organization for their commitment.
