We are pleased to present our guest speaker, Chad Person of YorCMO. Chad is an accomplished B2B marketing executive with 20+ years of experience leading marketing and sales initiatives for B2B enterprises with a special emphasis on professional services.

Chad has worked with accounting firms of all sizes to help identify key factors of successful marketing and business development processes. He was recently well received as a speaker at our December 2025 Managing Partner Roundtable and is happy to participate with us and impart his thoughts, knowledge and guidance.

Three points to be covered:

1. Why most firms approach growth from the inside out, and why that limits results. I’ll walk through what an outside-in approach looks like and why marketers are uniquely positioned to bring that perspective to the partner group.

2. The six questions every firm should answer before committing to a growth plan. This is the heart of the Clarity Worksheet, covering what success means, where growth is realistically possible, capacity and leadership constraints, and partner alignment.

3. How marketers can use this as a seat-at-the-table tool. Whether the attendee is a dedicated marketing director, a partner wearing the marketing hat, or someone splitting their time across multiple functions, they’ll leave with something concrete to bring into their next leadership conversation.
