Business Focus: Cross-Border Collaboration Between Anchin, Harris & Trotter and Snyder Cohn

Published on Mar 3rd, 2026

Recent collaboration between Anchin (New York), Harris & Trotter (London), and Snyder Cohn (Washington D.C.) highlights how specialist expertise and trusted relationships across BKR International can support tangible client growth.

Anchin was initially engaged to provide discrete corporate international tax advisory services to a longstanding client of Snyder Cohn. Following the success of that engagement, Anchin was asked to review the client’s increasingly complex international tax filings. As the scope of work expanded with the client’s increasing international footprint, Snyder Cohn transitioned the full U.S. federal tax return engagement to Anchin this year, representing a significant six-figure mandate.

As Anchin was already familiar with the client’s structure and cross-border considerations, the transition was smooth and efficient. Snyder Cohn continues to manage the personal tax affairs of the family owners, ensuring continuity while allowing each firm to focus on its respective area of expertise.

The collaboration has since extended beyond the U.S. When the client sought assistance identifying a new UK audit firm due to service concerns with its existing provider, Anchin introduced Harris & Trotter. This creates the opportunity to further strengthen the client’s coordinated international support within the BKR association.

What began as a specialist advisory engagement has now evolved into a broader, multi-jurisdictional client relationship within BKR, demonstrating how technical depth combined with trusted relationships can translate into meaningful commercial opportunity.
