As of January 1st, 2024, Bland & Associates, P.C. (Bland) welcomes four new Partners from within the organization. Rachel Turek, Nick Eker, PJ Predoehl, and Katie Brabec have all been Directors for Bland and will now be Partners in our Omaha firm.
Rachel Turek CPA, CFE, Partner
Rachel performs audits, reviews, and compilations of a variety of industries, specializing in not-for-profits and audits of employee benefit plans. She also
works on commercial and governmental entities. Turek joined Bland in 2013, most recently serving as a Director in the Audit department.

PJ Predoehl, Partner
After working in long-term care for 15 years, Philip Jon (PJ) Predoehl switched gears and decided to pursue a career in accounting and auditing. He cites his experience in long-term care as the reason for his interest in accounting.

Nick Eker CPA, Partner
As a Director in Bland’s Audit department, the workload variety Eker enjoys includes overseeing assurance services for closely held businesses, governmental entities, and not-for-profits. He also specializes in Governmental Single Audits and compliance audits. He joined Bland immediately after earning a BSBA in Business Administration and Accounting fromNebraska Wesleyan in 2007.

Katie Brabec CPA, Partner
Katie served as an Intern at Bland (Bland) from 2009 to 2010 and started her professional career at the firm directly from college in 2010, ultimately working her way up to her current position as Director in the Government Consulting department. In this role, she oversees Bland’s financial examination contracts for various federal agencies. Katie attributes her success in the accounting field to her attention to detail and ability to patiently work through tough challenges. By demonstrating a personal investment in her clients and team and contributing to a positive work environment, she closely relates to Bland’s mission.
