Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs (AOC), a BKR International member based in Manila, Philippines, officially announced the opening and blessing of its seventeenth office—the Silang–Tagaytay Branch. This new milestone strengthens the firm’s nationwide expansion and commitment to bringing quality professional services closer to clients. Strategically located at the 2/F EliJosh Commercial Building, Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Lalaan II, Silang, Cavite, the branch is positioned to serve the rapidly growing Silang and Tagaytay business communities and support their increasing demand for audit, tax, and advisory services.
The inauguration was led by Eljohn P. Constante, Partner-In-Charge of the Silang–Tagaytay Branch, who officially opened the office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Joining him were Chairman and Founding Partner Donnies Alas and Senior Partner Glesie Martinez, both expressing their strong support and optimism for the firm’s continued expansion.
A blessing ceremony was officiated by Pastor Ronald Camiling, offering prayers for the branch’s success and setting a positive tone for its operations. The event was also attended by Partners Fernando Santos and Christian Martinez, along with branch staff and team members who gathered to celebrate this important moment for the firm.

Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs Completes Intensive Training with LvHJ, Highlighting Strong BKR Member Collaboration
From November 7 to 17, 2025, Lindquist, von Husen & Joyce LLP (LvHJ)—BKR International member firm based in San Francisco, California, USA—conducted a comprehensive audit training program for Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs (AOC).
Led by LvHJ Partners Charlotte Tay and Crisanto Francisco, together with Audit Managers Joy Garcia and Thea Edolsa, the hands-on sessions provided both a technical refresher for experienced professionals and essential onboarding for new team members.
Held at Function Room A, Level 5, One Ayala, Makati City, the program gathered 36 members of the AOC San Francisco Audit Team headed by Director Kim Adrian Cruz, with the full support of CEO Marycris Oplas. Participants strengthened technical capabilities, enhanced audit quality, and deepened teamwork across locations.

Alas Oplas & Co., CPAs Welcomes Borland Benefield for Weeklong Training
The firm successfully concluded a weeklong intensive training program held from November 13 to 21, 2025. The program was facilitated by Borland Benefield, P.C., BKR member firm headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. The training team, composed of Michelle Granberry, Alisa Johnson, and Nathan Daniel traveled from the United States to deliver in-depth technical guidance and connect personally with the AOC team.
The sessions were conducted at Function Room B1, Level 5, One Ayala, Makati City, and attended by 25 members of the AOC Alabama Audit team led by Senior Manager Joannah Gonzales, with the full support of CEO Marycris Oplas. The program featured hands-on learning designed to strengthen audit capabilities, enhance technical proficiency, and prepare the team for future international engagements.
This initiative underscores the continued commitment of AOC and Borland Benefield, P.C. to collaboration, professional growth, and building stronger personal and working relationships within the BKR International network.
