Abbasi Shahin and Odeh, BKR International’s member firm in Jordan, has strengthened its advisory offering with the appointment of Sharif Shahin as Advisory Partner.
Based in Amman, Sharif joins the firm following several years in senior advisory roles in New York with EY USA, Deloitte, and BDO USA. His background spans transaction advisory, technical accounting, and finance transformation, advising senior executives, audit committees, and boards across financial services, insurance, asset management, technology, and telecommunications.
In his new role, Sharif will focus on expanding the firm’s strategic and transactional advisory capabilities, supporting clients on complex cross-border matters including business combinations, carve-outs, IPO and SPAC transactions, restructurings, and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
Alongside his transaction advisory work, Sharif brings deep experience in finance transformation and FP&A. He has led multi-year transformation engagements for large international groups, designing executive-level planning and scenario-analysis platforms used by senior leadership to improve forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making.
Sharif’s experience sits at the intersection of finance, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies, positioning Abbasi Shahin and Odeh to further support clients navigating increasingly complex reporting, regulatory, and operational environments.
Sharif’s appointment reflects Abbasi Shahin and Odeh’s continued focus on strengthening its advisory capability and supporting clients on increasingly complex local and cross-border matters.
Sharif’s appointment further enhances the depth of advisory expertise within the BKR EMEA region and supports growing collaboration across the Middle East and wider international association.
