On Monday, February 18, Nisivoccia LLP employees who wore jeans to work donated money to the “Stock a Classroom” initiative. Mrs. Baker, a teacher at Burch Charter School Excellence in Irvington, NJ, is raising money to give her students Chromebooks and learning centers. The students will learn how to navigate a computer properly and be able to play games that will aid with their word building, vocabulary and fluency. On Thursday, February 21, Harlene Stevens, CPA and Manger at Nisivoccia LLP, was featured in the CNBC article “This group of Americans will most likely get the biggest tax refunds.” Harlene commented on how the child tax credit can benefit young families with children.
