Michael Savoy (Los Angeles) to Be Featured Speaker for California Board of Accountancy’s (CBA) Outreach Event


Gumbiner Savett Inc. (Los Angeles) is pleased to announce that shareholder Michael Savoy, CPA, CGMA, will be speaking at the CBA’s CPA Exam Information Session this Thursday, April 11 from 5-7 PM at California State University, San Bernadino’s Santos Manuel Student Union Events Center.

The event will help students and professors understand the current examination, education, and experience requirements for the California Certified Public Accountant licensure. Students from adjacent universities have also been invited to attend the informational session.

“Educating students who will someday become the new CPAs in California and across the US is incredibly rewarding,” said Savoy. “It’s a fantastic long term career so I am dedicated to spreading the word.”

Mr. Savoy, a three-time governor appointee and a two-time president to the CBA, will be discussing the value and many rewards of obtaining a CPA license. He will also participate in a panel discussion regarding a CPA career and its opportunities.
