Briggs & Veselka Co. (Houston) Named to Top 20 on Houston Business Journal Best Places to Work List

Large Company Category Recognition

Briggs & Veselka, Houston’s largest independent accounting firm and the fourth largest independent firm in Texas, has been once again named to the list of Best Places to Work by the Houston Business Journal. The firm was ranked 20th among large (100-999 employees) and was one of only two accounting firms recognized in this year’s rankings.

“Our culture and values are the key differentiator for our people and ultimately our clients, so it’s rewarding to receive such recognition,” said John Flatowicz, managing shareholder of the firm. “I find it especially interesting that the Best Places list also includes some of our clients, which further demonstrates the affinity of culture,” Flatowicz added.

Briggs & Veselka also recently received designation from Inside Public Accounting as a Best of the Best Accounting firm nationally, based on performance metrics. And in a just-completed survey among clients, received an average 9.4 on a 10 scale in terms of client satisfaction, far exceeding the national average for accounting firms.
