Borioli & Colombo Associati, Tax Advisers (Milan) Contributes to Public Consultation by Italian Ministry of Finance

Borioli & Colombo has recently contributed to the public consultation issued by the Ministry of Finance related to the new draft regulation on transfer pricing.

The draft documents refer to a new set of rules to be implemented concerning:

  • Guidelines to apply the arm’s length principle in intercompany transactions, according to BEPS actions outcome; and
  • Procedures to request corresponding downward adjustments by Italian taxpayers in case a TP assessment that became definitive has been carried out in another country with which Italy has a proper exchange of information.

The public consultation and comments procedure started on February 21, 2018, and ended on March 21, 2018.

Now, a meeting between the Ministry of Finance and the representatives of the contributing firms is about to be scheduled for May 2018.
