BKR Announces Scholarship Award Winner

At BKR International’s 2017 Annual Worldwide Meeting in London, Aisha Bhamjee was awarded the BKR International Scholarship.

Nominated by BKR London Member Firm Blick Rothenberg, Aisha was awarded $3,000 toward the cost of obtaining her accounting credential.

Aisha came to Blick Rothenberg as an intern in February earlier this year and spent the week with the firm’s Business Group. She currently attends City & Islington College, where she is studying for her A Levels in Maths, Economics, and Psychology. Once she has completed her A Levels, she is keen to secure an accountancy apprenticeship rather than going to University.

The BKR International Scholarship programme offers students assistance into the accountancy profession and, since its inception in 2012, has granted over $70,000 to 25 students in over 12 countries.
