Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP (New York) Announces the Addition of New Managing Director to Lead Transaction Advisory Services Practice

Olamide (Lami) Ajibesin Joins the Firm to Expand its Due Diligence Offering

“We are continuously looking for new ways to assist firms with growth investments, and companies with successful combinations and exits. Lami’s deep experience as a trusted advisor throughout the deal lifecycle, providing a wide range of financial due diligence support, complements and strengthens Anchin’s service offerings,” said Greg Wank, Anchin’s Consumer Products Group Co-Leader.

“Bringing Lami in as a Managing Director will help us broaden our significant industry expertise, particularly by leveraging Lami’s experience on deals involving consumer products, industrials, financial services and technology companies. We are very excited for this new addition to the Anchin team.”

“We are thrilled to have Lami join the firm to supplement our Private Equity offerings across industries,” said George Teixeira, Leader of Anchin’s Private Equity Group. “Lami’s addition signals our firm’s commitment to continuously add high end, value added advisory services that will strengthen and differentiate Anchin’s value proposition to the industry.  Offering Lami’s expertise through our Private Equity platform will enhance our ability to help private equity firms and businesses achieve their goals for growth, transition and exit.”

A New Transaction Advisory Services Practice

With Lami’s arrival comes an augmented suite of Due Diligence services, including buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, lender and tax due diligence and other advisory services to help guide investors and owners alike on important decisions made to create value in complex M&A transactions.  Clients that embark on a due diligence process at the outset of a deal typically achieve the best possible outcome, which is creating sustainable value while minimizing risks.  With Lami’s guidance, Anchin can now help with various pre/post signed letter of intent (“LOI”) deal analyses including but not limited to: quality of earnings; quality of working capital; net debt and debt-like analysis; financial statement analysis; and synergies and forecasts analysis. Anchin can also help coordinate interaction with potential alliances & their advisors, and purchase price agreement negotiation.

Lami has fifteen years of experience in working with Private Equity and corporate clients. Her transaction size experience ranges from lower middle-market deals to those exceeding $1 billion. She has executed more than 150 deals for private equity and strategic acquirers in a variety of industries, and advised on over $10 billion worth of private equity, strategic investments and secondary transactions including both LP-focused and GP-led mandates.

Prior to joining Anchin, Lami was a Director in the M&A - Transaction Advisory practice of Duff & Phelps, LLC and was in the deal advisory practice of KPMG LLP.

This addition of this talent will help to further fuel Firm growth, and enable Anchin to continue to offer the highest quality creative, proactive advisory services to clients representing all of the major industries in the Tri-state area and beyond.
