Baltimore, MD – Ernie Paszkiewicz, CPA, presented “How to prevent and detect fraud in your organization” on Tuesday, May 22 at Gross Mendelsohn’s Baltimore office.
Paszkiewicz offered attendees ideas for simple internal controls that every organization should have in place to prevent fraud. He taught attendees how to spot red flags before a fraud is committed. Paszkiewicz also reviewed fraud prevention techniques and audit procedures related to fraud. He helped attendees understand what audits can and cannot do to prevent and detect fraud.
Paszkiewicz is a partner in Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates’ audit and accounting department. He is director of the firm’s Manufacturing & Distribution Group and a member of Gross Mendelsohn’s Nonprofit Group.
